A problem to solve

Working inside the travel industry, one problem became impossible to ignore. Passengers stuck with non-refundable tickets they can’t use, operators absorbing no-shows and losing inventory. Value disappearing on both sides, with no tool to bridge the gap. That’s what Fairlyne was built to solve.

Building a team

Gilles de Richemond and Michael d’Eboli meet inside Accor’s executive committee. Two people with decades of experience at the heart of large travel operations.

Fairlyne is born

The conviction becomes a company. Fairlyne is officially founded and the team moves into its first office. The mission: turn no-show recovery into a real revenue management lever.

First successes

We closed our pre-seed round backed by key C-level executives from the travel industry. Shortly after, we successfully launched OUIGOSWAP, OUIGO’s resale program. The first week results validated everything we had been building toward. Fairlyne was selected by PhocusWire as one of the most innovative travel startups for 2023.

Scaling up

To build on our early success, we closed a $3M seed round with Speedinvest, Kima Ventures, FJ Labs, and Evolem. The team doubled from 4 to 8 people, and the platform continued to mature. The foundations were in place to grow beyond our first clients and take Fairlyne to the next level.

A growing reputation

Fairlyne steps onto the international stage, meeting Revenue Management leaders across airlines, railways, and hospitality at the industry’s biggest events. Fairlyne is selected as one of 10 laureates of the second France Tourisme Tech cohort, a program run by the French Ministry of Economy to accelerate the most promising travel tech companies. A senior advisory board joins, and post-booking optimization becomes a topic the whole industry wants to understand.

Breakthrough year

Transavia France and Flair Airlines go live, delivering strong results from day one and confirming Fairlyne as the go-to post-booking platform for major operators. With a growing client base and proven technology, Fairlyne expands beyond resale and launches a full post-booking optimization suite, including a marketplace successfully deployed with OUIGO to extend resale and drive new customer acquisition. As the platform scales, a clear need emerges: AI to make every post-booking decision smarter and more efficient.

Expanding the suite

Transavia Netherlands joins the resale program, extending post-booking optimization across the full Transavia network. AI becomes central to how operators make smarter, faster decisions at scale. New solutions launch, including Buy-Back and Swap, giving operators even more levers to maximize revenue between booking and departure.

Vision

A future where post-booking optimization is a standard

Just as any Revenue Management tool
