Since Ouigo tickets are non-refundable, passengers can resell them to other travelers through the Ouigoswap service. Previously limited to fully-booked trains, resale is now available for all trains operated by SNCF’s low-cost carrier. Launched in 2022, Ouigoswap allows passengers who can no longer travel to recoup 80% of their ticket price (including options) as a voucher when their ticket sells. Buyers benefit from increased availability and discounts of up to 50% off current prices. For example, a July 15th Paris-Marseille ticket sells for €65-69 on Ouigoswap compared to €89 through regular channels, giving travelers both flexibility and savings while helping others complete their journeys.
